At Nocell Technologies, Newkirk leads strategic direction, go-to-market plan, alliances and partnerships. He oversees business development, brand marketing, public relations and social media for NOCELL’s enterprise-grade driver device management DDM™ platform.
Prior to NOCELL, Newkirk served as CMO for Tourmaline Labs where he successfully launched a motion analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI) telematics technology that revolutionized data collection from smartphones globally.
Formerly, Newkirk served as Director of Channels for CalAmp (NASDAQ: CAMP), where he helped reposition CalAmp from a “black-box” GPS tracking, router and telematics OEM to a global forerunner leading transformation in the connected economy, by streamlining complex IoT deployments and bringing intelligence to the edge with connectivity and data in motion analytics.
Newkirk holds a marketing degree from Trinity University, a master’s in business administration from Lehigh University, and advises boards of several California-based technology organizations.
